徐貝怡的首飾主要探究生活中一些細(xì)微之處,利用觀察和感悟去重塑人們對一件事物的固有理解,帶領(lǐng)觀者重新審視和思考被人云亦云的觀念。在作品《離異家庭標(biāo)簽》和《情緒臟話》中都有所體現(xiàn)。探討的觀點(diǎn)雖并非和主流價值背道而馳,卻往往是被大眾所忽略的層面。它們同樣具有被討論的價值;以《情緒臟話》為例,為了體現(xiàn)臟話的積極影響,作品采用臟話紋樣的泡泡棒,以及吹泡泡的形式,引發(fā)觀者的愉悅感,從而切實(shí)的體會到作品主旨。
首飾和人的接觸非常緊密,體量相對其它藝術(shù)形式而言較小,非常適合表達(dá)個人生活中的瑣碎之處,作品《時間的毀滅性》中就運(yùn)用了該觀點(diǎn)。該作品靈感源于一條貯存已久的項(xiàng)鏈,借首飾的形式講述了一段隨著時間悄然逝去的友誼。
首飾的創(chuàng)作出發(fā)點(diǎn)與運(yùn)用到的材料都可以是個人的,但好的作品給觀者帶來的感受應(yīng)該是共通的。
Xu Beiyi’s jewellery is mainly explore trifling matters in daily, utilizing her own observations and interpretations to remold people’s inherent thinking on particular things, leading audiences to review and reflect conventional perspectives.
It has reflected on work <The label of divorced family> and <Cathartic swearing>. The key content expressed not to overthrow mainstream values, they are just hinting to remind the aspects that you ignored. Those trifling matters which people don’t see the value in are worth discussing as well. For example, in order to display the positive of bad language, the work has adopted the bubble sticks with swearwords and the form of blowing, which can bring a sense of pleasure and give straight feeling to audiences in <Cathartic swearing>.
In addition, the contact between jewellery and people is closely, and the volume of jewellery is relatively small compared with other art forms. Therefore, jewellery is fairly suitable to express personal trifles, the work <time’s destruction> has applied this point of view. It is inspired by a necklace that has been stored for a long time, which is a gift from an old friend. Through jewellery I have told about a friendship disappeared with time passing.
The start points of jewellery creation and materials used can be personal, but the feelings of good works to viewers should be mutual.
